ED Raid : प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग रोकथाम अधिनियम, 2002 के तहत हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर (पूर्व DIG) और अन्य से जुड़े मामले में 11 जगहों (चंडीगढ़-2, लुधियाना-5, पटियाला-2, नाभा-1 और जालंधर-1) पर तलाशी ले रहा है। ये तलाशियां आरोपियों, उनके सहयोगियों और संदिग्ध बेनामीदारों से जुड़ी हैं।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, इस तलाशी अभियान का मकसद अपराध से हासिल हुई और संपत्ति का पता लगाना, बेनामी संपत्तियों की पहचान करना और मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग (ED Raid) से जुड़े सबूत इकट्ठा करना है।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि यह कार्रवाई CBI की चंडीगढ़ यूनिट द्वारा दर्ज किए गए मूल अपराधों (predicate offences) के आधार पर की जा रही है। ये मामले एक आपराधिक केस को निपटाने के लिए एक बिचौलिए के जरिए अवैध रिश्वत मांगने के आरोपों और आय के ज्ञात स्रोतों से कहीं ज़्यादा संपत्ति पाए जाने से संबंधित हैं।
भुल्लर पंजाब पुलिस के डिप्टी इंस्पेक्टर जनरल (रोपड़ रेंज) के पद पर तैनात थे। उन्हें सीबीआई ने अक्तूबर 2025 में कबाड़ डीलर के शिकायत मांगने के आरोप के बाद गिरफ्तार किया था।
