कोलकाता। West Bengal election : बंगाल में दूसरे चरण के मतदान दौरान डायमंड हार्बर समेत कई केंद्रों पर ईवीएम की सुरक्षा और पारदर्शिता को लेकर उठे सवालों के बीच चुनाव आयोग अब एक्शन मोड में आ गया है। चुनाव प्रक्रिया की शुचिता बनाए रखने के लिए आयोग ने ‘हाई-लेवल’ जांच शुरू कर दी है।

विशेष रूप से डायमंड हार्बर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की स्थिति पर अब सबकी निगाहें टिकी हैं, जहां स्पेशल रोल आब्जर्वर सुब्रत गुप्ता स्वयं स्ट्रांग रूम का मुआयना किया।
स्ट्रांग रूम में ‘स्पेशल स्क्रूटनी’
डायमंड हार्बर विमेंस कालेज स्थित स्ट्रांग रूम, जहां ईवीएम मशीनों को कड़ी सुरक्षा में रखा गया है, वहां सुब्रत गुप्ता की मौजूदगी ने राजनीतिक हलचल तेज कर दी है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, वे मशीनों की सीलिंग, सुरक्षा मानकों और संरक्षण पद्धति की गहन जांच कर रहे हैं। आयोग का स्पष्ट निर्देश है कि इस जमीनी जांच की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर ही यह तय किया जाएगा कि क्षेत्र में पुनर्मतदान की आवश्यकता है या नहीं।
77 शिकायतों ने बढ़ाई आयोग की सख्ती
केवल डायमंड हार्बर ही नहीं, बल्कि दूसरे चरण के मतदान के दौरान राज्य के विभिन्न हिस्सों से ईवीएम से छेड़छाड़ और गड़बड़ी की कुल 77 गंभीर शिकायतें दर्ज की गई हैं। इन शिकायतों पर कड़ा रुख अपनाते हुए चुनाव आयोग ने वेबकास्ट फुटेज और संबंधित बूथ अधिकारियों की रिपोर्ट खंगालना शुरू कर दिया है।
बंगाल के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी मनोज अग्रवाल ने इस मामले पर स्पष्ट संदेश देते हुए कहा है कि आयोग “जीरो टालरेंस” की नीति पर काम कर रहा है। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि जहां भी ईवीएम के साथ छेड़छाड़ या तकनीकी धांधली की पुष्टि होगी, वहां बिना किसी देरी के पुनर्मतदान कराया जाएगा।
राजनीतिक आरोप और प्रशासनिक सक्रियता
मतदान के बाद से ही भाजपा ने ईवीएम के बटन पर टेप लगाने समेत कई गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। विपक्ष का दावा है कि दक्षिण 24 परगना जिले के डायमंड हार्बर क्षेत्र में कई बूथों पर पारदर्शिता के साथ समझौता किया गया। इन आरोपों के बीच, एक विशेष पर्यवेक्षक को भेजने का निर्णय चुनाव आयोग की सक्रियता और निष्पक्षता के प्रमाण के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।
प्रशासनिक हलकों में यह चर्चा आम है कि सुब्रत गुप्ता की रिपोर्ट ही अब इस चुनावी भविष्य का फैसला करेगी। जब तक स्क्रूटनी की यह प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं हो जाती और रिपोर्ट जमा नहीं होती, तब तक आयोग किसी भी अंतिम निर्णय पर मुहर नहीं लगाएगा। फिलहाल, पूरी सतर्कता के साथ साक्ष्यों की जांच जारी है।
