WPI : सितंबर महीने में थोक महंगाई दर में मामूली गिरावट देखी गई। इस दौरान खाने-पीने की चीजों, ईंधन और विनिर्मित वस्तुओं की कीमतों में नरमी दिखी। इसके असर से थोक मूल्य सूचकांक (डब्ल्यूपीआई) घटकर 0.13 प्रतिशत पर पहुंच गई। मंगलवार को जारी सरकारी आंकड़ों में इसकी पुष्टि हुई। थोक महंगाई दर अगस्त में 0.52 प्रतिशत तथा पिछले वर्ष सितम्बर में 1.91 प्रतिशत थी।

उद्योग मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा, “सितंबर 2025 में थोक महंगाई के सकारात्मक रहने का कारण खाद्य उत्पादों, गैर-खाद्य वस्तुओं, परिवहन उपकरणों और कपड़ों के विनिर्माण कीमतों में वृद्धि है।” थोक मूल्य सूचकांक के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, खाद्य वस्तुओं की कीमतों में सितंबर में 5.22 प्रतिशत की गिरावट दिखी। अगस्त में इसकी कीमतें 3.06 कम हुई थी। इस दौरान सब्जियों की कीमतों में गिरावट देखी गई।

सब्जियों की कीमतों में सितम्बर में 24.41 प्रतिशत की नरमी आई। अगस्त में यह 14.18 प्रतिशत थी। विनिर्मित उत्पादों के मामले में मुद्रास्फीति घटकर 2.33 प्रतिशत रह गई। जबकि अगस्त में यह 2.55 प्रतिशत थी। ईंधन और बिजली में सितम्बर माह में 2.58 प्रतिशत की नकारात्मक मुद्रास्फीति या अपस्फीति देखी गई, जबकि पिछले महीने यह 3.17 प्रतिशत थी।

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) खुदरा महंगाई दर को ध्यान में रखकर इस महीने की शुरुआत में बेंचमार्क नीतिगत दरों को 5.5 प्रतिशत पर अपरिवर्तित रखा था। सोमवार को जारी आधिकारिक आंकड़ों के अनुसार, खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति सितंबर में 8 वर्ष के निम्नतम स्तर 1.5 प्रतिशत पर आ गई।
