देहरादून: DEHRADUN WORKERS PROTEST सेलाकुई औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में शुक्रवार को मजदूरों का विरोध प्रदर्शन अचानक हिंसक रूप ले बैठा. मजदूर वेतन वृद्धि, ओवरटाइम भुगतान और अन्य मांगों को आंदोलन कर रहे हैं. आंदोलन उस समय उग्र हो गया जब प्रदर्शनकारी फैक्ट्री परिसरों से निकलकर सड़क पर उतर आए. देखते ही देखते माहौल तनावपूर्ण हो गया. फैक्ट्री के बाहर जमकर पथराव शुरू हो गया. स्थिति को संभालने पहुंची पुलिस पर भी पत्थर फेंके गये. जिसमें कई पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए. घटना के बाद पूरे औद्योगिक क्षेत्र को पुलिस छावनी में तब्दील कर दिया गया है.
सेलाकुई स्थित डिक्सन कंपनी समेत कई औद्योगिक इकाइयों के कर्मचारियों ने कार्य बहिष्कार करते हुए प्रदर्शन शुरू किया. हाथों में तख्तियां और बैनर लेकर बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारी दून-पांवटा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर पहुंच गए. मजदूरों ने आरोप लगाया कि लंबे समय से वेतन वृद्धि और ओवरटाइम भुगतान की मांग की जा रही है. प्रबंधन उनकी समस्याओं को गंभीरता से नहीं ले रहा है. प्रदर्शन के कारण हाईवे पर लंबा जाम लग गया. यातायात व्यवस्था पूरी तरह प्रभावित हो गई.
प्रदर्शन के दौरान हालात उस समय बिगड़ गए जब कुछ प्रदर्शनकारी उग्र हो गए. उन्होंने फैक्ट्री के बाहर पथराव शुरू कर दिया. पुलिस ने पहले कर्मचारियों को समझाने की कोशिश की लेकिन स्थिति नियंत्रण से बाहर होती देख हल्का बल प्रयोग और लाठीचार्ज करना पड़ा. इसके बाद प्रदर्शनकारी इधर-उधर भागने लगे. पुलिस और प्रदर्शनकारियों के बीच काफी देर तक तनावपूर्ण माहौल बना रहा. घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल तैनात कर दिया गया है. ड्रोन कैमरों की मदद से निगरानी की जा रही है.
उधर विंडलास बायोटेक लिमिटेड के कर्मचारियों ने भी कंपनी परिसर के बाहर धरना देकर प्रबंधन के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की. कर्मचारियों का कहना है कि बढ़ती महंगाई के बीच मौजूदा वेतन में गुजारा करना मुश्किल हो गया है. साथ ही ओवरटाइम के भुगतान और श्रमिक सुविधाओं को लेकर भी उन्होंने नाराजगी जताई. कंपनी प्रबंधन लगातार कर्मचारियों को समझाने का प्रयास करता रहा, लेकिन, श्रमिक अपनी मांगों पर अड़े रहे.
