देहरादून: Haldwani मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में खेल विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों को राज्य में खेल अवसंरचना के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं युवाओं को खेलों के प्रति और अधिक प्रोत्साहित करने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के दौरान तैयार किए गए खेल अवसंरचना का नियमित रख-रखाव और उसके प्रभावी उपयोग पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए, ताकि राज्य में खेल गतिविधियों को निरंतर गति मिल सके। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि इन परिसंपत्तियों का अधिकतम उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने के लिए राज्यभर में नियमित खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाए।

मुख्यमंत्री ने हल्द्वानी में प्रस्तावित खेल विश्वविद्यालय तथा लोहाघाट में बनने वाले महिला स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज की कार्यवाही में तेज़ी लाने के निर्देश भी अधिकारियों को दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि इन परियोजनाओं के शीघ्र क्रियान्वयन से प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों को उच्चस्तरीय प्रशिक्षण सुविधाएं मिलेंगी, जिससे राज्य खेल क्षेत्र में नई पहचान बनाएगा।
बैठक के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने युवाओं में खेलों के प्रति उत्साह और भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए न्याय पंचायत स्तर से लेकर विधायक, सांसद एवं मुख्यमंत्री चैंपियनशिप ट्रॉफी जैसी प्रतियोगिताओं का भव्य आयोजन सुनिश्चित करने को कहा। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग अग्निवीर भर्ती की तैयारी कर रहे युवाओं को भी आवश्यक सहयोग प्रदान करे।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने कहा कि 39वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के दृष्टिगत प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों को और बेहतर प्रशिक्षण एवं संसाधन उपलब्ध कराए जाएं। उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले खिलाड़ियों को समयबद्ध रूप से पुरस्कार, छात्रवृत्ति एवं बीमा सुरक्षा के लाभ सुनिश्चित किए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि खेल विभाग द्वारा निजी क्षेत्र एवं कॉरपोरेट जगत की भागीदारी से खेल अवसंरचना के विकास पर भी विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए, ताकि खेल सुविधाओं का विस्तार जन-जन तक हो सके।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि खिलाड़ियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने के लिए अनुभवी प्रशिक्षकों की नियुक्ति की जाए तथा राज्य में विभिन्न खेल अकादमियों की स्थापना से संबंधित कार्यों में गति लाई जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार का संकल्प प्रदेश में खेल संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देना और युवाओं की ऊर्जा को सकारात्मक दिशा देना है।
बैठक में खेल मंत्री श्रीमती रेखा आर्या, उत्तराखंड राज्य स्तरीय खेल परिषद के उपाध्यक्ष श्री हेमराज बिष्ट, प्रमुख सचिव श्री आर.के. सुधांशु, विशेष प्रमुख सचिव खेल श्री अमित सिन्हा, सचिव श्री शैलेश बगोली, निदेशक खेल श्री आशीष चौहान तथा खेल विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
