US-China Tariff : अमेरिकी उद्योगों के लिए जरूरी दुर्लभ मृदा खनिजों के निर्यात पर चीन के प्रतिबंध के बाद दोनों देशों में तल्खी बढ़ती जा रही है। ट्रंप ने इसे चीन का आक्रामक रुख बताते हुए अब चीनी उत्पादों पर अधिक टैरिफ लगाने का एलान कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि 1 नवंबर 2025 से अमेरिका चीन से आयातित सभी उत्पादों पर 100% अतिरिक्त टैरिफ लगाएगा। यह टैरिफ पहले से लागू शुल्क के ऊपर होगा। इसके अलावा, अमेरिका उसी दिन सभी महत्वपूर्ण (critical) सॉफ्टवेयर पर भी निर्यात नियंत्रण लागू करेगा।

ट्रंप ने नए टैरिफ का एलान अपने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ट्रुथ सोशल पर एक पोस्ट के जरिए किया। इसमें उन्होंने लिखा कि 1 नवंबर 2025 से (या पहले, चीन की किसी भी नई कार्रवाई के आधार पर) अमेरिका चीन से सभी आयात पर 100% टैरिफ लगाएगा, जो वर्तमान में भुगतान किए जा रहे किसी भी टैरिफ के ऊपर होगा।

अमेरिकी हितों के लिए कार्रवाई (US-China Tariff)

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के अनुसार, चीन की इस कार्रवाई ने अमेरिका को मजबूर किया कि वह कठोर उपाय करे और सभी महत्वपूर्ण सॉफ्टवेयर तथा अतिरिक्त टैरिफ की घोषणा की जाए। ट्रंप ने स्पष्ट किया कि अमेरिका की यह कार्रवाई केवल अमेरिकी हितों के लिए है और अन्य देशों के लिए अलग से निर्णय लिया जाएगा।

विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, वर्तमान में चीन से अमेरिका आयातित लगभग हर उत्पाद पर पहले से ही भारी टैरिफ लागू हैं। इस समय औसत प्रभावी टैरिफ दर लगभग 40% है, जिसमें स्टील और एल्यूमीनियम पर 50% और उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं पर 7.5% तक शुल्क शामिल है।

शी से मुलाकात से ट्रंप का इनकार

इससे पहले उन्होंने दक्षिण कोरिया की आगामी यात्रा के दौरान चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग से मुलाकात से इनकार कर दिया था। उन्होंने कहा था कि अब इस मुलाकात का कोई कारण नहीं दिखाई देता। साथ ही, उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि चीन ने रेयर अर्थ पर प्रतिबंध जारी रखा तो और भी कड़े कदम उठाए जा सकते हैं। ट्रंप ने ट्रुथ सोशल प्लेटफॉर्म पर पोस्ट में लिखा था कि, हम जिन नीतियों पर विचार कर रहे, उनमें से एक है- अमेरिका में आने वाले चीनी उत्पादों पर टैरिफ में भारी वृद्धि। कई अन्य प्रति-उपाय भी हैं, जिन पर गंभीरता से विचार हो रहा।
