उत्तराखंड ने लगाया पदकों का शतक, रचा इतिहास

-गोवा में आए थे 24 पदक, इस बार चमत्कारिक प्रदर्शन
DEHRADUN। 38 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के समापन से कुछ घंटे पूर्व ही उत्तराखंड ने पदकों का शतक लगाकर इतिहास रच दिया है। गोवा में आयोजित 37 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों में सिर्फ 24 पदक उत्तराखंड ने जीते थे और पदक तालिका में वह 25 वें स्थान पर रहा था। इस बार पदकों की संख्या और पदक तालिका में उत्तराखंड कुल 101 पदकों के साथ सातवें नंबर पर नजर आया।
अपने घरेलू मैदान में मेजबान उत्तराखंड के खिलाड़ियोें ने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया है। पिछले राष्ट्रीय खेलों में जहां सिर्फ तीन स्वर्ण पदक उत्तराखंड ने देखे थे, वहीं इस बार स्वर्णिम सफलता की बयार चली है। उत्तराखंड ने 24 स्वर्ण पदक झटके हैं। इसके अलावा, 35 रजत और 42 कांस्य पदकों के साथ कुल 101 पदक अपने खाते में डाल दिए हैं। पदकों के मामले में देखा जाए, तो तालिका में उत्तराखंड से सिर्फ सर्विसेज, महाराष्ट्र, हरियाणा ही आगे हैं। इस लिहाज से उत्तराखंड का चौथा नंबर है, लेकिन स्वर्ण पदकों की कुल संख्या से होने वाले आंकलन के चलते उसका सातवां नंबर बना है।
स्वर्ण पदक ज्यादा होने के कारण कर्नाटक, मध्य प्रदेश व तमिलनाडू जैसे राज्य पदक तालिका में उत्तराखंड से आगे हैं।
