उत्तरकाशी: GOVERNOR GURMEET SINGH राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने बीते दिन उत्तरकाशी जिले के आपदाग्रस्त क्षेत्र धराली हर्षिल और मुखबा का दौरा किया. इस दौरान राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह ने प्रभावित परिवारों से भेंट की और राहत एवं सुरक्षा कार्यों का जायजा लिया. राज्यपाल ने मुखबा में धराली हर्षिल से आए प्रभावित परिवारों से मुलाकात कर उन्हें हर संभव सहयोग का भरोसा दिलाया.

मुखबा में राज्यपाल ने आपदा प्रबंधन, राहत एवं सुरक्षा कार्यों की प्रगति के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी ली. इस दौरान उन्होंने जिला प्रशासन, सेना, एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ तथा अन्य सुरक्षा एजेंसियों से चल रहे राहत और सुरक्षा उपायों के बारे में जानकारी ली. राज्यपाल ने मुखबा में धराली हर्षिल से आए प्रभावित परिवारों से मुलाकात कर उन्हें हर संभव सहयोग और सहायता का भरोसा दिलाया. उन्होंने कहा कि संकट की इस घड़ी में राज्य सरकार एवं पूरा प्रशासन उनके साथ मजबूती से खड़ा है. राज्यपाल ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों की सहायता और पुनर्वास के लिए ठोस एवं दीर्घकालिक कार्ययोजना तैयार की जाए, ताकि प्रभावित लोग शीघ्र ही सामान्य जीवन में लौट सकें.
राज्यपाल ने प्रभावित क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहे जिला प्रशासन, सेना, एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ और अन्य एजेंसियों के आपसी समन्वय की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उनकी निष्ठा, परिश्रम और त्वरित कार्रवाई से राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों को गति मिली. विशेष रूप से राज्यपाल ने 14 राजपूताना रेजीमेंट के जवानों की सराहना की, जिन्होंने स्वयं आपदा से प्रभावित होने के बावजूद राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में सक्रिय योगदान दिया. उन्होंने इसे मानवता की सच्ची सेवा और साहसिक कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण बताया.
